Lyamujungu Cooperative Financial Services Ltd (LCFSL) is a member founded, member owned and member governed Savings and Credit Cooperative Society operating within greater Kabale District & Ntungamoregistered on 18th July 1990 under the Cooperative Societies Act, Cap 112 with registration Certificate No. 5695/RCS. LCFS would like to recruit the suitable candidates to fill the following vacant positions.

Job Title: Customer Care Officer

Number of Vacancies: O4

Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer service while ensuring that all banking procedures are followed correctly with an aim of achieving customer loyalty.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responding to members’ inquiries/requests about institution’s services, resolve members’ issues timely and forward unresolved issues to relevant officers.
  • Initiating account opening process for the members based on compliance and maintaining members’ register. 
  • Providing a report of members’ concerns and suggest necessary operational changes required to achieve customer loyalty and attract more members.  
  • Providing information to clients about the institution’s current & new products and services and other initiatives like promotions etc. 
  • Ensuring order in the banking hall by directing members and other stake holders to relevant offices for the service. 
  • Guiding customers on how to fill deposit slips, withdraw slips, make requisitions, loan applications etc. in order to ease members access to the services.
  • To record transactions made and update the members’ passbooks.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Minimum academic qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Should possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies or any other relevant discipline attained from a recognized academic institution, relevant experience of 2 years and being a Sacco member is an added advantage.
  • Should be 35 years and below.
  • Good customer care and excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Should be flexible and willing to work from any Lyamujungu SACCO branches and outreaches.

Job Title: Driver

Number of Vacancies: 01

Reports To: General Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Driving the institution’s vehicles to authorized places, with authorized personnel and at authorized times.
  • Maintaining the good mechanical condition of the institution’s vehicles. 
  • Advising management to clear vehicle obligations such as insurance, taxes, etc.
  • Ensuring safety and security of the vehicles while on official duty.
  • Ensuring that the vehicles remain tidy at all times.  
  • Recording the mileages of the vehicle.
  • Ensuring safe custody of deliveries in transit. 
  • Respecting the traffic rules and regulations. 
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum academic qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Must have a valid driving license.
  • Should possess at least a UCE Certificate, relevant experience of 6(six) years and being a Sacco member is an added advantage.
  • Should be between 25- 45 years of age.
  • A certificate in defensive driving is an added advantage.
